The 8th annual South Buffalo Irish Feis & Expo will take place on Saturday, September 6th, 2008 at the Majestic Olmsted Caz Park. The all day entertainment event at the casino is made possible by our Sponsors and Volunteers. Can You Dig It .inc, a nonprofit organization, has partnered with Goin' South and The Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce to provide nonstop music, dance and entertainment on two stages. The 2007 defending State champions – the South Buffalo Rugby Football Club (SBRFC) - will kick off their 11th season against the Lockport Gang Green. Come cheer on the reigning champs at the 2 pm match being held behind the casino. A business and community Expo will take place from 2-6 pm showcasing more than 75 local business groups and organizations. Childs Play activities will take place from 2 - 5 pm, and include a rock-climbing wall, balloon sculptor, face painting, juggler and caricature artist . Live Entertainment begins at noon and concludes with a fabulous fireworks display. Our Food Vendors will provide a traditional Irish menu complimented by our traditional summer treats. So bring the family to celebrate South Buffalo's largest annual cultural celebration. We ask our guests to support our free event by leaving their coolers at home, and instead purchasing food and beverages from our vendors at nominal prices. Also due to insurance concerns, we will be enforcing a "no dogs" policy.
